The County Veteran Service Office, now located at our NEW, larger offices at 1656 W, Broad Street in Cookeville, TN, provides free services in counseling veterans, surviving spouses, and veteran families on VA benefits. They also file claims on behalf of the veteran or beneficiary with the Veterans Administration to obtain VA Healthcare, Compensation, Pension, Survivor Benefits, Burial Benefits & more. Assistance is also offered in obtaining military records, discharges from TN state records or the National Archives. Hours of operation are Mon. through Fri. 8am to 4pm.
